About Us
MAD (Middle Atlantic Division) is a regional division of the American Association of Geographers (AAG), As a regional division of the AAG, MAD elects officers, organizes special events, sponsors field trips, conducts an annual meeting, publishes a periodic newsletter, and sponsors a student paper competition and award. MAD-AAG membership is open to anyone with an interest in geography and our division includes Maryland, Northern Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
